The Lodges
The lodges are all intended for comfort, with luxury bedrooms and open-air living spaces that allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery. All of them are larger than 100 square meters, so you’ll have plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view. Each lodge has a unique 180-degree view of the estate, volcanoes, and Nicaragua Lake. For a truly sumptuous vacation, each lodge features a dreamy terrace with a fire-heated bath. For larger families, there is also the 220 square meter Villa Vertigo, which can sleep up to 6 people. It has three comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a large terrace with a large fire-heated jacuzzi, a fully equipped kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, and a cozy custom-designed living area with a unique 180-degree view of the estate, volcanoes, and Nicaragua Lake.
The Food
At Origins Luxury Lodge, the culinary journey is led by knowledgeable and passionate chefs. Our Michelin-starred and “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (M.O.F.) Chef Jean-Luc L’Hourre has inspired our chefs to celebrate the French seafaring heritage of Brittany and savor the same ingredient cooked in different textures. Adeline Lahoussay left her food stamp with her delicious French pastries and trained Kim to continue with her delicious heritage. Dominique Serres brought new techniques to the team and gave a twist to the dishes by implementing more traditional Costa Rican ingredients. Edith is brilliant and puts a lot of effort into her cuisine. Rachel Bienh inspired the chefs with her amazing desserts and passed on her inspiration and knowledge to Dalila. Chef Guillaume Boileve trained Hansel and Bismark to go back to the simplicity and truth of fresh ingredients. Currently, our culinary staff includes Bismark, Hansel, Dalila, Edith, and Marcela. The Activities
Origins Luxury Lodge provides a variety of activities for guests to enjoy. Whitewater rafting on the Corobici River is an excellent opportunity to experience Costa Rica’s lush rainforest and take in its magnificent sights and sounds.
The rafting journey is an exhilarating adventure that includes a 12-foot waterfall drop named “Cascabel Falls,” which is optional. Horseback riding is also available, which takes guests through several farms, across the Tigra River, and to plantations. There are various wildlife trips available, such as a kayaking tour on the Rio Niño to see sloths, toucans, monkeys, and other creatures.
The chocolate tour is a one-of-a-kind experience that allows guests to learn about the cacao seed’s processing and taste the finished product. There are other waterfall walks accessible if you want to get more active, including the Oro Waterfall, which offers scenic views and plenty of wildlife.
